Warehouse Management Solution

Get more from automated management of logistics processes

An optimised logistics system requires full knowledge of management processes which is a function of the capability to obtain data from corporate operations and trasform them into information, thus making them available to various decision-making levels, such as warehouse manager, operations manager and company’s top management.
The Agile platform, thanks to its full integration with the company’s information systems, allows you to automatically acquire and homogenize data from different sources in a single database accessible in the cloud.
Find out how Agile Warehouse Management solutions can help you improve the governance of your company’s processes.

Why to automate logistics processes today?

The competitive advantage of a logistics system depends on its ability to make handling and storage operations fast and secure by managing the information flows connected to them. The growing need for information related to the increasing amount of data associated with individual load or handling units cannot be carried out manually anymore and requires the use of new technologies for the automation of fully or partially structured processes.

The automation of the processes through the development in Agile allows to realize an efficient, integrated and sustainable logistics thanks to:

  • information always available in real time on the status of the warehouse (Real Time Elaboration)
  • a safe and fast traceability of materials (Riable Information)
  • the correct planning of the activities of the operators in the warehouse with the possibility to anticipate the operational needs (Behind Visible Line Operation).
  • optimization of inbound and outbound logistics space and operations
  • reduction of human errors during loading into warehouse, picking, packing and delivery

Interoperability of systems

Interoperability is the capability of a system to operate with other systems without requiring any particular integration and adaptation efforts from the user.

Thanks to a greater ability to govern business processes you can achieve a significant reduction in time, costs and errors in the processing of information while improving the levels of efficiency and effectiveness of your organization.

With a modular development approach it is possible to design complementary solutions that can be integrated with external systems, such as measuring instruments, PLC, up to complex data sharing with national and international Erp systems through EDM (Electronic Data Processing) protocols.

With these assumptions, the solutions are complete and autonomous, but have standard interfacing systems with the possibility to manage calls to external applications.

The benefits of hybrid cloud for a supply chain network

Companies often use infrastructures, platforms, applications and tools for logistics management from different suppliers. Different proprietary tools that are not developed to communicate with each other and applications that operate in the cloud very slowly. It is necessary to connect the environments through a more advanced infrastructure, management and development, able to integrate, not replace with ERP and existing systems in the company,

A hybrid cloud-based infrastructure allows you to modify and update tasks and management processes at any time and in any place according to your business needs. This is supported by a team of cutting-edge designers who keep Agile solutions easily scalable and technologically advanced.

The modules contained in the solution
N

Acceptance - products entry

Interfaced with ERP management manages:

  • the registration of the load documents in the warehouse, the counting and creation of the load units, their identification by means of labels;
  • the sorting of the missing (cross-docking);
  • storage phases, with algorithms to guide operators to locate the material in a way that complies with company rules;
  • Generation of the load movement on ERP with identification of quantities ordered and received.

It interfaces with the Quality Solution Controls module to guide the correct location of the material being controlled.

N

Withdrawal lists

Interfaced with the management system to receive information related to orders (production, work account, customers). The information is sorted into pickup lists.
This module assigns the available material according to service policy priorities, configurable according to business needs.
In addition, the system organizes picking activities according to the specificity of the handling equipment used and the warehouse areas.
Using mobile devices, operators are guided through the picking missions, with optimized routes, according to picking logic for single order, massive with subsequent fanning, pick and pack. Each withdrawal movement, if necessary, is forwarded to the management for appropriate updates.
N

Deposits

Manages automated data alignment with ERP management. It produces a deposit movement to the warehouse at the end of each production activity, thus allowing the traceability of the material.
N

Inventories

Manages total or rotary inventories. Selects the items to be inventoried and prepares the operation for the detection of counted UDCs.
The module is accompanied by reports on:

  • inventory differences
  • Updating/correcting inventories.
N

Shipments

Manages the preparation of the packages in shipping, checking the items that are gradually placed in the packages. At the end of the process the packing list is issued.
To complete the module, a process can be activated that drives the loading of packages onto the shipping vehicles.
Project modules
N

Indexes

To set KPIs, Indicators and Charts for efficiency and handling costs.
The module contains some standard indicators.
N

Integration

To interface various types of instruments to support warehouse operators: PLC, scales, optical readers, counters, according to the needs of each company.
